| 33501 | 2002-01-30 04:41:00 | hi, i have recently installed redhat 7.2, dual booting with win me. i am having no luck at configuring my printer. its an epson stylus colour 580.there is no driver for this model, but seems to be for all other stylus colour printers i have tried them all plus generic text only drivers but to no avail. Has anyone out there had this problem, could it be specific to this printer? also my system ( athlon 1.33, 640mb ram ) runs real slow under redhat.why is this? can anyone recommend a good linux compatible modem? thanx in advance. |

Check out the Printing HOWTO, (so you can avoid those with functionality shown as 'paperweight') as well as that linuxprinting.org site. | Guest (0) | ||
