| 33466 | 2002-01-29 18:01:00 | I can no longer print from IE6 or OE. I have tried to reinstall iepeers.dll and shdoclc.dll, uninstall IE6 (which did not work), reinstall IE6, changing views, etc., and still no luck. I do not want to perform a full system restore. Does anybody have any suggestions? I'm running Windows ME. Thanks a lot. | Guest (0) | ||

Have tried deleting printer drivers and reinstalling (HP Deskjet 840C), turning off virus checkers etc. Finally reverted back to ie5.5 (am on OS Win 2000 Prof). Even tried the microsoft technicians but all their suggestions didn't work either...although they hadn't heard of this problem before?! I haven't checked with HP yet though...might be next step. Your input would be good, even if you haven't got a fix yet as it may demonstrate that it's an ie6 prob (bug), and therefore get someone working on it. P.S. had no prob printing with other apps (word etc) with ie6 installed, just in explorer ond OE. |
