| 33404 | 2002-01-29 09:22:00 | I have a compaq 433 celeron running win98 se and i have just brought a TNT2 M64 3D card now i know you are all going to say MY MY thats an old 3D card but i am on a tight budget anyway and i hope you are all in tears now LOL my question is this when installing new drivers for video cards is it true that after each new driver installation you have to reinstall direct x any help would be great thanks chris |

| 33405 | 2002-01-29 09:46:00 | nope. :) just install windows standard drivers before installing new vid card. don't worry i've had one of those for quite some time.....i little bit of overclocking needed but it ran quake3 and other games ok (just). |
