A 1998 copy of Consumer magazine did a test on batteries and it confirmed what I had already learnt from personal experience. Use re-chargeable batteries in your cordless mouse, even when you factor in the cost of the charger and assume that you can recharge upto 200 times (some manufacturers claim in excess of 1000)then they are upto 13 times more efficient than the standard batteries. Panasonic and Sony were the recommended ones. Ps I am a hive of useless information PP |

| 33749 | 2002-01-31 10:00:00 | With rechargeable batteries when they start to get dozy on the recharge put them in a plastic bag and then into the freezer for a day. When you take them out let them warm naturally and then recharge. Did it just recently with a laptop battery which was only lasting about ten minutes and it then ran for about two hours. | Guest (0) | ||

| 33752 | 2002-02-01 10:17:00 | Actually the waiting room was empty and I was lying on my back with my feet on a chair trying to get some pain relief. But perhaps that might be the answer, a new pair of specs, hang on, I have just cleaned tham and it has made quite a difference already. PP |
