| 33667 | 2002-01-31 03:51:00 | HI, How can I, go about increasing the stack in my system ini? I have Windows ME, Athlon 1200Megahertz, 376 Memory. Any suggestion will be appreciated. |

| 33668 | 2002-01-31 04:18:00 | the cut&paste answer- 'To resolve this situation, add the following line to the [386Enh] section of the System.ini file and then restart your computer: MinSPs=4 If the problem persists, increase the number of spare stack pages in increments of 4 (for example, 8, 12, 16). NOTE: Each spare stack page requires 4 kilobytes of memory.' note- some tweaker progs such as x-setup are very handy for doing these types of changes without getting your fingers dirty so to speak :) |
