33607 2002-01-30 18:22:00 I have installed a 16x10x40 cd rom.It works fine.My problem is with the software.I installed a couple of programs that came with it and they work fine. But when I try to send to D: i get the message.'wrong format' and it offers to format the drive. I agree to this and it works, but now I can't use the supplied software. I have removed the software that came with the cd-rom and I just use the send-to command in XP to burn what I want. No problems. I only use the CD for backups etc. So this system works for me. Downloading from the CD works OK.
BUT, just out of curiosity, what is this wrong format business?
Any comments?

33608 2002-01-30 19:34:00 Suggest you visit the home page of your cd Writer brand and read the FAQ/support/commom problems pages. I have found them very helpful Guest (0)

33611 2002-01-30 20:31:00 Jack, www.btc.com is NOT BTC's website :)

Their website is www.btc.com.tw

A link to the english page on that site is www.btc.com.tw or their US website is www.btcusa.com

Hope this helps a little.

Mike.
