33710 2002-01-31 07:37:00 Windows Messenger? not sure I've heard of that one... are you meaning MSN Messenger? The internet chat program? IF that's what your'e meaning, yes it works fine in Win98 Guest (0)
33711 2002-01-31 07:42:00 Windows Messenger is MSN Messenger for XP. Nothing different apart from being an XP version with other features that only work on XP machines with XP machines. Guest (0)
33712 2002-01-31 07:48:00 I have a feeling that Windows Messenger is a stand alone program. I came across references about it when I was looking into my fax problem...more than one article made mention that I needed it installed as well as another prog before being able to use the fax. Not 100 % sure but pretty close...lol Guest (0)

Go to support.microsoft.com and read all about it. WMS has fax email personal folders, etc. You may have to install MS Mail Post Office first to make it all work depending on what you are using at the mo.
When you browse your 98 cd to find WMS.exe go to the Int folder not US for correct version (If I remember rightly).
