| 33992 | 2002-02-02 05:41:00 | Since XP is based on NT technology, is it as stable as 2000?? What are the opinions of XP users?? | Guest (0) | ||
| 33993 | 2002-02-02 06:17:00 | I've been using it since it's release and it has only crashed once and that was today. And it was due to a hardware fault. I'd been fiddling) | Guest (0) | ||
| 33994 | 2002-02-02 07:03:00 | Seems pretty stable after all the updates I've had to download. Only crashed on my NVidia GeForce2 Card but it's fixed now. Apart from all that it's quite good. It did seem a little too big to bare with the icons and the taskbar so I had to up my resolution to 1024x768. |

More stable and performing than Win2k. i just go rid of the glossy interface with the Classic Win style and its all good for me. Not crashed even once. Well gigabyte mobo are also known for stability. Plus i got Win2k/Win XP dual boot and its surprising Win 2k doesnt do well with power management i.e soft power off etc where as Win XP does all the trick. And Win XP runs faster..boots up miles faster than Win2k on my machine. So yeah for me WinXP is the OS to have. The only reason i have Win2k is cause Win Xp doesnt support msn messenger and i cant do video conferencing on net unless the other person has Win XP so i have to use Win 2k for this feature |
