| 33912 | 2002-02-01 09:39:00 | i started trying to change a bin/cue combination to iso format. got a program that needs to be run in ms dos.i can see the folder with all my files in but cant run the command line needed. now i want to learn a bit about dos itself anyone got any good sites.running98se. cheers |

| 33914 | 2002-02-01 18:43:00 | LEARN about DOS? Weren't you born with it in ROM? Gee, I learned it out of a book in 1985, it's been a while. I would suggest you try to track down an old Dos manual. I still have the Dos 6 technical reference guide, one of the best dos manuals microsoft wrote. But seriously, what are you missing? You must have the basics of changing directories, deleting files, and viewing directories. What else could you need to know? robo. |

| 33915 | 2002-02-02 02:25:00 | Try your Public Libary. Theyt have those pages on dead trees. Much better to have by the kwyboard. Look for 'Dos for Dummies', etc. There are lots of books, and responsible librarians know about retaining our history. |
