| 33899 | 2002-02-01 07:31:00 | PIII running W98SE, Office, IE5 and various other applics and games. At time system is slow and unreliable. Booting taking too long ? Most recent boot had the blue screen of death: 'Teminating thread due to a stack overflow problem. A VxD, possibly recently installed, has consumed too much stack space. Increase the settings of 'MinSPs' in SYSTEM.INI or remove recently installed VxD's. there are currently 5 SPs allocated. Press any key to continue.' Anykey repeats the message. Anykey second time continues to Windows reboot. I think this problem has occured infrequently over the past year. What are VxD's. What to do ? |
