Hi
I recently installed a soundcard and CD rom in a friends PC133 machine. I used a spare monitor I had and everything was fine. when I returned the tower to my friend on rebooting she gets multiple desktops showing. I believe that this is a monitor setting issue as I have used a KTX Digital monitor and hers is a 14' Phillips SVGA. I have tried resetting the monitor to no avail. On replugging in my spare monitor the system works fine. Any helpful tips appreciated pse. Cheers |

It maybe a refresh rate setting or something that the monitor can't handle. You should boot into safe mode and set it up there. |

The obvious one is the setting in display properties which may give you an option to extend desktop on to the other display? Normally adapters rather than monitors though. |
