34249 2002-02-04 05:14:00 For all my ravings about how great it is to be in Paradise, today I can't get connected! Every time I try, I get 'invalid username or password'. I tried retyping everything to make sure it was correct, then I tried ringing the helpdesk. Each time it went straight to hold music, playing so faintly that you could hardly tell it was there! The third time I got the normal 'please wait for our next available representative' etc., then a woman answered the phone who was from some paralegal service! She said Paradise must be having huge problems because they were getting all their calls. Sent an email but still waiting and still can't get on. Thankfully I hadn't cancelled my Xtra connection yet! Hope it's a rare occurrence for Paradise. Guest (0)
34250 2002-02-04 05:42:00 Hi Faye

I am connected to Paradise now with no problems (connected first time about 5.25pm - sad isn't it, home from work where I spent all afternoon in front of a PC, straight onto my own PC), just typed a response to Susan's post saying how good they are ... ooooops should have read your post before I enthused so emphatically!

Hope things sort themselves out for you, or move to sunny Tauranga :-)

34252 2002-02-04 06:18:00 Hi,

Coming to save paradise's arse here... Actually the problems lay with Telecom, and their IpNet system... It's the second time since christmas I'm afraid.

34253 2002-02-04 07:08:00 Hi Jester, all happy again now! Figured it was probably a network problem rather than Paradise itself, naughty Telecom! Know the feeling about straight on the net - except I finished work at 4pm and tried to get on - it was obviously fixed by then so it must mean I should have been out on the bike instead. Don't tempt me to shift back to the Bay - 15 years in Whakatane bring fond memories - land yachting on the beach at Ohope - back in the days before I could even type! Talk about Paradise! Guest (0)
