Sounds like the icon you are clicking on the desktop is the setup icon?? What version of IE are you running? Try deleting the icon on the desktop and using the one on the taskbar or start menu and see if you still get this message. If you do, you can go to Start, Programmes, Accessories, System Information, Tools, and click on Repair Internet Explorer, which should hopefully fix it. If not, reinstall the version of IE that you want (remember to back up your outlook express email addresses and emails first or it will overwrite them and you will lose them). |
