| 34523 | 2002-02-05 21:56:00 | Hi, I have Ancestry.com family tree progam, if any one has used it, can you tell me how to convert the information to a file so it can be sent email as an attachment? The databases are *.aft,*.aq,*.paf;indiv2.dat;*.ged I would like to be able to open the database in Wordpad. Win 98. Thank you Jan |

I am finding that many of the family are using the Internet and am wondering if I could send the reports by e-mail rather than snail-mail. Is this possible? A. Ancestry Family Tree lets you print Book reports to WordPerfect and RTF file format. It also lets you print these and all other reports to a text file. Can you recommend this program; my mother is in the process of doing rather extensive research at present. I checked out the ancestry.com website & presume it is the free version you have. |

Yes, Luke it is the free program from Ancestry.com, easy to use (once you get the hang of it!) and very comprehensive. I have a huge tree on it already. Hope your mother has more luck reasearching the family than I'm having. Many elusive family members!! Jan |
