34557 2002-02-06 02:56:00 Is there any way I can make the internet connection hang up if someone is trying to call me? I use windows Me. Any help is appreciated. Guest (0)
34558 2002-02-06 03:12:00 Don't know about this one, but in the UK where I've been living you can have your mobile (or any other number) paged by the BT answering service when it receives a call. Also the BT service calls you when you hang up, to let you know you have a message. The Telecom NZ service needs improving. Guest (0)
34559 2002-02-06 04:28:00 If we assume that you have a mobile just get call diversion on your landline to your mobile. The caller would only pay the normal fee for the call but you would foot the bill for the mobile link and of course Telecom don't do it for nowt!

34560 2002-02-06 04:51:00 Hi Patrick.

Im using Me with call waiting. I have taken out the *52 from the dialling properties and when someone rings, it disconnects the computer and the phone rings.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

34561 2002-02-06 05:29:00 Another idea is to divert to mobile - making sure you don't have cellular secretary enabled.

The phone rings, caller ID shows who's calling, you ignore call, disconnect the computer and ring back on the land line.
