| 34736 | 2002-02-07 04:09:00 | First time poster to this forum and novice computer user. Can anyone tell me why I frequently get 'This page cannot be dispayed' when I try to call up websites? |

| 34737 | 2002-02-07 04:20:00 | This can be caused by lots of things. It means an error occured. Whether it be the page cant be found (404) auth failed, or maybe you just arent connected to the internet. There isn't just 1 reason why this error occurs. | Guest (0) | ||
| 34738 | 2002-02-07 04:26:00 | They are usually caused by url being mistyped, some sites have to have the www in front of the address and some sites wont work if you have the www in front, also if it is an older site the page may have been deleted or moved to another location. seeya! :P | Guest (0) | ||

If your using zfree, here is a message I just rececived from their help desk: We are currently experiencing technical problems with International Bandwidth, this is causing problems accessing international websites. We are currently working to fix this problem which should hopefully be resolved by the end of the day. We apologise for any inconveniences. |

The King: It can't be caused by mistyped URL as it happens when I click on favourites for sites previously accessed, and current. Matt: I was already connected when I was trying to access the sites. Any other ideas anyone? |
