34731 2002-02-07 03:41:00 I've been trying to get the drivers from www.torque.net but it says the file cannot be found.

I have been to Iomega's site but they only have version 1.0 and isn't the latest.

Most sites point to www.torque.net but I can't get those drivers off there. Is there anywhere else I can try?

Thanks in advance.

34733 2002-02-07 10:01:00 You shouldn't really need any fancy drivers! The following scripts work for me on my RedHat 7.0 PC:
1. zipmount

/sbin/modprobe ppa
mount -t vfat /dev/sda4 /mnt/zip

2. zipumount

umount /mnt/zip
/sbin/rmmod ppa

as long as you create the mount point '/mnt/zip' first.

Hope this works!

34734 2002-02-07 10:05:00 The first script needs a line break before 'mount' - it is all on one line when I viewed my posting!! Guest (0)
34735 2002-02-08 01:52:00 Did you have any drivers installed for it?

I tried /sbin/modprobe ppa and it came back with an error.

What is sda4?
