| 34687 | 2002-02-06 22:01:00 | I've been trying to set my PC time on my Win2000 pro machine using commands stated in the Feb 2002 PC World NZ article (page 96). 'net time /setsntp:ntp.massey.ac.nz' executes ok, but the 'net time /set' comes back with an error 'cannot locate a time server'. I've pinged all of the university sites listed in the article and they all fail. The ihug ntp servers all ping sucessfully, however I still cannot get this working using the ihug ntp servers. Any ideas? p.s. I have checked my settings using 'net time /querysntp' and I have set the server correctly. |
