| 34606 | 2002-02-06 09:40:00 | A minimum install of Win 98 will take up about 225 mb, so you should have some space left over (Forget about things like Windows themes as they're just space hoggers). Also recommend not installing it on anything smaller than a Pentium 100 with 32 mb of ram. I did manage to install it onto a 486 DX4 but it ran like a one legged dog. Good luck. | Guest (0) | ||

I have 98se running Office 2000 on a Compaq 486DX50 with 20meg of ram (1.2 gig drive). Sometimes it seems to work faster than my real pc (PIII 550 / 370mb ram etc, etc) Have Faith! regards, Ray |
