| 34926 | 2002-02-08 11:33:00 | my computer cant find the scanner its all connected and I have tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling 3 times I have pulled the plug out of the PC before reinstalling but no joy the connection is USB maybe I should completely turn the PC off Disconnect the power to the scanner and the USB connection what do you helpful people think. | Guest (0) | ||
| 34927 | 2002-02-08 12:01:00 | try enabling USB in the bios it may be disabled. if it is enabled verify if you have the correct USB device drivers if you are running win95. what OS are you using? also verify if the scanner actually picks up in device manager (right click my computer and select properties) and see if there is any exclamation marks or a red X click on it if any to see the error message |

| 34928 | 2002-02-09 02:31:00 | If you are running windows95 you may be out of luck. Many USB devices like scanners and printers require win98se or better. And if thats the case I dont know of a work around. ==Orac== |

| 34929 | 2002-02-09 10:24:00 | If your scanner is HP try doing Start>run-type msconfig>OK>start up tab; make sure StillImageMonitor is ticked and reboot your computer. Hope this helps. | Guest (0) | ||
