| 34810 | 2002-02-07 11:58:00 | hi i have win xp pro and have 256 ram. when i press ctrl+alt+del to see how much ram i currently have avalible its around 11000 with nothin on. is that normal?? should i try to free more ram? thanx |

| 34811 | 2002-02-07 12:13:00 | what figure are you looking at available phyiscal memory? If you are yes that's a bit on the high side. flick over to the 'Processes tab and see what programs are hogging all the memory. If it's something you can do without, shut it down. Cheers, Ecko |
