1266923 2012-04-21 07:49:00 Happiness is ... my new Nokia Lumia 800 Black

One of the most impressive things I've always liked about Nokia, dating back to my very first brick in 1989, is that they have a no nonsense menu system that is so easy to comprehend. They think the way we do, and I found I didn't have to waste time spinning my wheels while I figured out what the **** the instructions were meant to mean. Craftsmanship is superb, and it feels solid.

The retailer clipped my sim card down to size (saved me a job), and from there, it took me less than 1 hour to set up and configure the phone the way I want it.

The only thing I have to work out is how to get the phone to synchronise with Outlook 2003 so I can use those contacts and calendar. I've installed a recommended MS program that should do the trick, but needs more work. Anybody?

You can't, you'll have to get Outlook to sync with Windows Live or Google first.

:thanks for the research, pcuser42. I've just taken a quick look at the link, and it appears as though that may be what I need. I'll get on to it tomorrow.

1266929 2012-05-02 10:16:00 I have the Samsung Illusion. It is great with internet and everything. The only problem you will have is the screen. If you go in the sun it is extremely difficult to see the screen. Marvin Barrett (16723)
