1290931 2012-07-26 07:34:00 Uninstall mywebsearch in add/remove programs . Or whatever the version of windows is. Babylon and funweb may also be there. Install ccleaner and see if their startup files are in startup. If they are highlight them then delete their entries Speedy Gonzales (78)
1290932 2012-07-26 07:43:00 hey Speedy Gonzales - like i said before i have uninstalled some programs i didn't want or felt needed to be removed though i went back and had a look mywebsearch is not there and .Babylon and funweb - are also not there - meaning i can not see them . Though tomorrow will go into cc cleaner and see if their startup files are in startup .

Now speedy like i said my web search is not there and also babylon and and funweb are not there so i was wondering how can this be possible if i have used malwarebytes to remove them and later use cc cleaner to clear their registry . It is like they are keep coming back.

1290933 2012-07-26 07:50:00 Well like I said earlier install teamviewer. You'll see what I'm doing. I dont care whats on the computer. I wont be going through it. It'll be easier if I do it, than trying to explain how to disable system restore for now etc Speedy Gonzales (78)
1290934 2012-07-26 07:57:00 hey speedy , uhmm i just went through cc cleaner - startup programs , i uninstalled some programs which are no longer needed like pc doctor , etc . I did'nt see mywebsearch , Babylon , and fun web .

TO ME IT LOOKS FALSE ALARM by spyboy - here is a proof - by cnet - . cnet . com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137 . html" target="_blank">download . cnet . com .

Is there any another software you think good for these kind of nasty - please help .

1290935 2012-07-26 21:41:00 babylon toolbar isn't maware. It usually comes along with a cnet installer. Can be gotten rid of easily enough though, it usually resides in the registry and the about:config of your browser Nick G (16709)
1290936 2012-07-26 21:47:00 That's probably why. Dont download anything from cnet or download.com. They repackage their downloads and put their own malware / crap in them Speedy Gonzales (78)
