| 34991 | 2002-02-09 04:30:00 | I have recently upgraded my computer with an Athlon 600 processor and a new motherboard. The system is working fine but I cannot get the floppy drive to work. The green light is on continually and when I try to use a floppy it comes up and says the system is not ready. Any ideas? | Guest (0) | ||

| 34994 | 2002-02-09 09:23:00 | Hi Wayne, I've seen this problem a few times. The green light constantly being on is the same in all these cases, so I'm guessing its the same thing. Try rotating ONE end of the floppy drive cable 180 degrees and plugging it in again. If you can't plug it in that way, rotate the other end instead. HTH Mike. |
