35105 2002-02-10 01:27:00 I have just reformatted my HD but now am unable to load win98(se). I have reformatted the entire 'C' drive, then chose option 1 on start up disk, created a directory ie 'mkdir win98' then access the folder with 'cd win98' then 'copy d:\win98*.*' but all I get is 'file not found - d:\win98*.*'. Each time I load a cd into my cd-rom drive it just spits it out again after about 30 seconds. After running the setup disk in 'A' drive I am advised that the ramdisk has been created in drive 'D'.
Can anyone help?

35106 2002-02-10 01:52:00 If you transcribed the copy command you uses correctly it is missing a '\'.

That would explain the error message. The copy command you gave is looking for any files whose names start with 'win98', followed by any more characters, withe any extension.

Try 'copy d:\win98\*.*'.

I assume you made the Win98 on the C drive ... and managed to cd to it, before issuing the command.

35107 2002-02-10 01:57:00 I think you wil find that since the ramdisk is drive d:, the CD-ROM will be drive e: Guest (0)
35108 2002-02-10 03:56:00 Why dont you just start Windows setup from the CD? If you can boot from the CD, then select the option to start Windows Setup. Guest (0)
