| 35105 | 2002-02-10 01:27:00 | I have just reformatted my HD but now am unable to load win98(se). I have reformatted the entire 'C' drive, then chose option 1 on start up disk, created a directory ie 'mkdir win98' then access the folder with 'cd win98' then 'copy d:\win98*.*' but all I get is 'file not found - d:\win98*.*'. Each time I load a cd into my cd-rom drive it just spits it out again after about 30 seconds. After running the setup disk in 'A' drive I am advised that the ramdisk has been created in drive 'D'. Can anyone help? |

The copy command you gave is looking for any files whose names start with 'win98', followed by any more characters, withe any extension. Try 'copy d:\win98\*.*'. I assume you made the Win98 on the C drive ... and managed to cd to it, before issuing the command. |
