| 34960 | 2002-02-09 02:28:00 | Hi I have a Gigabyte GA-7ZX motherboard with the Via KT133 chipset. This is supposed to be 100/133 MHz Bus speed The Manual suggests that one can change the speed to 133 MHz ? it appears to be set to 100 MHz at present, which looks as if it?s the default. (on,off,on,on). The settings for the 133 seem to be (on, on, on, on,) Questions: 1 Can I increase the speed? 2 Will it improve performance? 3 Are there any dangers with changing the dipswitches to enable 133? TIA Ron |
