| 35323 | 2002-02-11 06:55:00 | I'm about to install some antivirus software on a computer, but I was wondering if i could have some thoughts on which software i should use. Presently i have a 30day version of Trend's Pc-Cillin. Is this a good peice of software. Also i heard Nortons 2002 is a brick that uses up lots of resources, this computer has 128mg, should i steer clear of that for that reason? Is Mcafee any good? Thanks |

| 35325 | 2002-02-11 08:34:00 | I have been using Nortons for over 3 years and prior to that I used Mcafee. I have had no problem with either the only reason I changed to Nortons was because at the time it was cheaper. My only real advice is to make sure you get one and keep it up to date. if you decide to go for Nortons then go for System Works, it's by far the best deal. regards PP |

I still have mine on my system, I have just disabled it, cuz i can't uninstall it. Anything but early editions of McAfee. | Guest (0) | ||
