This lets you select the exact features you are looking for in a camera, and how important these features are to you, and then comes up with a listing of cameras to suit your needs, as well as a list of cameras that didnt quite fit your request, but may be good anyhow. The only thing to keep in mind is all prices are listed in $US, however from the small amount of searching I did, it appears that most cameras are cheaper if ordered from the states anyhow, even given the god awful exchange rate at the moment. Another point to note is that the digital zoom factors given are, basically lying. If it says 2x zoom, it isnt, its a 1x zoom. The way they justify it is by saying that as the maximum magnification is twice the minimum magnification, it is a 2x zoom lense, however what they fail to mention is that the minimum magnification is only 0.5x so you have to halve all the factors given. |
