| 35320 | 2002-02-11 06:34:00 | My computer recently wouldn't start. Took it back to the company I bought it from, (still under warranty), modem kaput, maybe lightening? They replaced modem but on return all I could get was either no dial tone message or modem not recognised. Took back in again and got back again, minus some software they said I didn't need -Zone Alarm! Now has intermittant fault. Sometimes connects. Sometimes gives error 630, modem not recognised. I've tried most of the Windows troubleshooter Modem suggestions without luck. Any suggestions or is it back to the guys I bought it off for a third try? Modem is Ambient HaM Data Fax Voice on COM4 port. |

| 35321 | 2002-02-11 07:10:00 | Sounds like my modem, which is now intel modem(they bought out ambient) so first reponse would be get the new driver. Give me an address and I will send you the driver. Scotty I used to have modem problems. |
