| 35377 | 2002-02-12 03:30:00 | The BIOS could be set to try to boot off the CD first. That is the first thing to check, because you don't need to open the box. Do whatever you need to do to enter the setup routine. Usually you would set the boot order to hard disk, floppy, CD. (Or for some protection against viruses disable booting from floppy). A less likely cause would be the data cable fallen out of the back of the CD drive. Or a dead drive. |
