| 35450 | 2002-02-12 10:35:00 | Put the cpu and heat sink on first as you put allot of force on the board installing them and may damage the board. You might want to put the ram in as well. |

| 35451 | 2002-02-12 11:56:00 | One tip I would offer that took me a while to figure out. Carefully line your heat sink up with your CPU, so the chip fits cleanly against the heat transfer paste. Once you have it in place correctly, dont be shy about applying a lot of brute force to clip the bugger on. I spent almost half an hour trying to work the bloody clip on without applying too much pressure, but you actually use a hell of a lot of force to get both ends of the clip onto the mobo. |
