| 35426 | 2002-02-12 08:22:00 | any one also know the paths for shortcuts to restart and close down computer?? can't remember where i saw these, but really handy. (windows 2000 pc) . i had a few suggestions in an earlier post, but they don't seem to work??!! what am i doing wrong?? any ideas?? this is what i've tried: To shutdown the computer C:\winnt\system32\RUNDLL.EXE user.exe,exitwindows To restart the computer C:\winnt\system32\RUNDLL.EXE user.exe,exitwindowsexec thanks in advance!! |

| 35427 | 2002-02-12 09:02:00 | Hit Terry I haven't used this program but it is meant to be very good for helping creat4e shortcuts to do things in windows. Shutting down is one of the things. grc.com is where you can get it from. It's written by Steve Gibson from GRC. JM |
