| 35396 | 2002-02-12 04:04:00 | hi there what i want to do is network 2 pc's so they can both share the one internet connection what i have is one pc with win 98 an adsl modem and a d-link network card the other pc has win 98 and a d-link network card is there any recomended software that i should be using for networking and what cable should i use the cards are 10/100 mbps thanks for your help |

| 35398 | 2002-02-12 05:41:00 | You don't need any special software to network the 2 pc's togather, windows comes with everything you need. However, you will need a cable and that will depend on the nic's. You will need software that allows you to share the modem tho'. I have used wingate, sygate and numerous others (all which require purchasing or pirating). I now use Proxy plus (www.proxyplus.cz) which works very well with my ADSL modem and 3 pc's. | Guest (0) | ||
