| 35690 | 2002-02-14 21:03:00 | After finaly upgrading to Winfax 10.02 to solve various fax issues in XP I had to realize, that Microsoft removed the 'Distinctive Ring Feature' from the new OS. Result: No Faxability! Are there any products available, which would solve this issue? |

| 35691 | 2002-02-14 22:46:00 | I too, was very frustrated to find that Distictive Ring Capabilities were removed from Windows 2000 and XP. I don't think there is a way to add distictive ring support to your computer. (I could be wrong). But you could buy a ring decoder that would route the signal to either the computer for fax, or the phone. Here is an example of one: www.dse.co.nz |
