| 35630 | 2002-02-14 08:58:00 | On my Win98 PC I have a number of Help files, some of which are in the Windows folder. Do a search for Help and what is on your friend's system. If there is nothing on the hard drive, do a search on the Win98 CD. Most likely the files needed are *.cab files and to extract the files you want from them you do this: Click on Start, Run and type 'sfc' without the quotes, to get the System File Checker. Choose the second option 'Extract one file', browse to the file you want then click on Start. |

| 35631 | 2002-02-15 01:44:00 | Reinstall Win98 over itself. Boot of the Win98 CD or instalisation floppy. You won't loose anything, the new instalition will just replac anything brocken or missing (like help) |
