35557	2002-02-13 10:28:00	Windows 98: Before completing the loading, I am asked for my password. As this can easily be bypassed by clicking on 'cancel' how can I get rid of this futile and annoyiong message: Plenty of instructions on changing passwords, but none on eliminating the query. 35558	2002-02-13 11:09:00	With the Bios password you need to enter the Bios setup, usually by pressing 'Del' on startup, and in it you have the oppertunity of changing it so that it is only required to enter setup. Your other password on bootup I forget exactly how it is done now but I think you need to go to the /Control panel/Network and change the logon to Windows logon and the method to Quick logon and then go to Passwords and change your password to a blank.
