35529 2002-02-13 09:38:00 Downloaded a MP3 program and then a mp3 to wav convertor. That bit i have sussed BUT wrote 2 tracks to CD now CD properties say its full or write protected.
Am i meant to write a larger file with 15 or so songs in one go.Can you not add a few tracks at a time?If so does this just apply to music files?I also wrote some photos onto CD and it shows plenty of space left so can i add more to it?
I would check your archives but have such shocking conn speed. Also no help file loaded in cd writer .
Thank you all

35531 2002-02-13 11:14:00 It sounds like you should have started a multi-session when burning the first few tracks. What software are you using. Guest (0)
35532 2002-02-13 12:32:00 What sort of program are you using to burn i use cd creator 5 myself very easy to use and never finalise your burning session unless you have the disk almost full waste of empty capacity leave it open. 35533 2002-02-13 19:35:00 Thank you all but please answer this. What session??
This is all on a friends puter. All i did was right click on track file and chose 'send to cd writer'Didnt realise might need further software. Her op sys is XP which seems to have a lot of programs built in that could possibly do the job not sure.Puter is a HP Pavilion. All the HP help files are not loaded tho and several programs look to be sharing.I used Morpheus to get tracks in .
Thank you all again.
ps.XP is difficult for those of us who like tutuing with settings.Too many built in programs interfering!

35534 2002-02-13 20:25:00 With an audio CD the index for the songs is at the beginning of the disk. Because you can't change the index, if you write to the disk you can't then go and add further songs later. Guest (0)
35535 2002-02-13 20:56:00 XP has the burning plug in, to help but obviously this is a one or two click operation(and default to close all in one go), use a program probably installed already to customise your burn, search pc from start/programs/.. and look for some name that looks/sounds like a cd creator/burner.
