35882 2002-02-16 09:31:00 This is what he said, June 98, page 123:
'I suspect that the reason you can no longer connect to your ISP is because either the login script has been deleted or moved or it's name removed from the connection profile, or perhaps it's just that the option to bring up a terminal window has been turned on.

To check these choose my Computer-Dialup Networking and right click on the connection icon. Choose Properties-Scripting. The name of the script file should appear in the File name window. Use browse to check you can find the file where the window says it is, or alternatively find the file so its name will now appear in the window. The actual name of the file will depend on which ISP you use, for example, pppmenua.scr for Ihug.

Having checked the script file is present and its name entered in the File Name window, choose General-Configure-Options and make sure there is no tick in either of the boxes in Connection Control. You should find you again have your one double click logon.'

Phew, hope that works after all that!
Cheers
