I leave my computer on all day for work the internet will stay connected for ages in the morning but once the computer has been on for more than say 3 hours, every time I go into the net it disconnects me constantly after only a few minutes. |

Hi. There are a multitude of things that can cause these disconnections, but it's really difficult to offer advice without knowing at least a few basics of what your system specs are, including make and model of modem, ISP etc. |

Sorry if this posts more than once as it keeps on disconnecting me when I try to submit- anyway I have an IBM Aptiva running Windows 98 and Internet Explorer with a Rockwell 56k modem.
My ISP is Paradise but I rung them when it started happening and we redid all the settings etc but it still happens so they seem to think it is a problem with my machine. |
