| 35859 | 2002-02-16 02:34:00 | At the web site of homepages.paradise.net.nz you can test your convergence, chick onto the top right side of menu 'Check your computer monitor convergence' and you can also check the linearity. The horizontal & Vertical lines are made up of magenta (red & blue) & white lines, the vertical lines are the same color just that they might look faded on a old monitor (like mine) while the diagonal lines are yellow (red & green) and cyan (green & blue) if you compare the diagonal lines with a straight edge, and the lines are bend to the right (like my monitor) then the bottom of the screen scan (vertical) is shrunk I would not know that my verticil linearity was out if I did not make the test page up. |

| 35861 | 2002-02-16 10:13:00 | It pays not too look at it after you have just been out jogging, and it is better to use a photo magnifier (x8 will do) too get a close up view of the convergence. It is hard sometimes to total good convergence all over, I got mine a little better using that pattern. and of course if you have a new liquid crystal display (LCD) panel that is one test you will not have to worry about. | Guest (0) | ||
