| 35917 | 2002-02-16 11:57:00 | I have a client who has had the following two problems (i suspect they're related...) 1) when they go to install norton antivirus 2002, the following message appears: The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation. 2) when they try to bookmark a website using ctrl-d the following error appears: This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. Although the pc has a network card installed, it is not connected to any other pc or network hub. I had a quick look and could not find any .pol files on the computer. I can see no reference to either of these things using poledit on the registry. There are no users setup in control panel, nor are there any passwords set. |
