| 35900 | 2002-02-16 08:31:00 | I have recently upgraded my Gateway v667c to Win2000 and everything is working except the modem. I have the correct drivers and I have tried to install the modem however the computer doesn't find any comms port it can find the LTP port. So I can install the modem up until it gets to the point where it says 'select a port' at which point there are no ports to select, and the 'next' button is shaded. Can you anyone help please? I'm not familar with how to do it on win2000 but you will need to find the modem (probably called a PCI Communication Device or similar) in device manager and choose update/install driver from there. The add/remove hardware control panel may also work. |
