Another problem has just arisen. When I change a desktop icon from the plain default icon for say, a program I have downloaded, the new icon will not 'stick'. Once the machine is closed down the icons revert to the default. But if I use icons from the Shell32.DLL file they remain. The choice here is very limited though, and I would prefer to be able to use other icon files. Once again, any ideas?

Try using Microangelo, you should be able to get it from http://www.download.com - you can also use this to change icons that are normally unchangeable, it's a great toy. |
