| 36184 | 2002-02-18 21:15:00 | Is there a utility (like Tweakui) that will enable me to change the system setting for the default temp/tmp file folder in winNT. I'm a little hesitant to use regedit. My problem is a program that creates a temp file and then tries to read it. Unfortunately where it puts it and where it looks for it are two different places so the program crashes. Vendors suggestion- reinstal WinNT-yeah right! Any idiot proof suggestions. Thanks Alastair |

| 36185 | 2002-02-19 00:23:00 | Hi Alastair, To modify the location of your temp directory, open the control panel, system applet, and click the environment tab. Create new variables TEMP and TMP, and set their value to c:\temp or other folder. Otherwise check your program, it may have an option for the temporary folder. |
