36106 2002-02-18 01:13:00 Windows update inserts itself in task sheduler at boot up. Great! problem is it sets itself to check for updates every 5 minutes.

I have tried altering the settings in task scheduler but it rteverts to 5 minute check at every reboot.

Can this be changed?

36107 2002-02-20 00:20:00 It's best to remove it completly.

Do updats manually. It's best not to install an update untill you've had the chance to chect it out for your self.

Get the name of an update and ask people about it. Run a search at www.cnet.com or www.google.com and see what people who have used it say.
