| 36371 | 2002-02-20 03:33:00 | I recently upgraded from Office 97 to Office 2000. Unfortunatly, my system crashed during the instalation and had to be restarted. After it had restarted, Office 2000 installed properly, but the My Documents folder is working strangely. The thing is, when I enter MD from the c:\ folder, it's fine, but when I use the Start\Documents\My Documents shortcut, I end up in a folder called %Dir Name%. Also, the My Documents shortcut from the desktop had gone. I'm running Windows Me. How can I fix the problem? |

Open Properties and change the target to point to the correct location. I'm using Win 98 which has a button to 'Find Target' if you don't know the path. |
