| 36485 | 2002-02-20 22:34:00 | I've got a bit of a problem. I'm using a compaq with win98 on an NT network that, when it starts up, goes straight into windows and doesn't login with the default users name, password and connection for the NT domain. I have to log off, (and there is no logged in user)and then log on,(with the NT domain login screen that appears once logged off). It stupid that when you switch on the machine and wait for windows to finish loading that you have to log off, to log on. Any help would be appreciated. I hope this makes sence, coz it doesn't to me. lol |

Check that the 'Primary Network Login' is set to 'Client for Microsoft Network' rather than 'Windows Login'. This should fix it, try it and test. If problem not resolved - return to this menu, right click the TCP/IP protocol on the Configuration tag, then properties and gateway and fiddle with that. |
