| 36451 | 2002-02-20 12:10:00 | My old external modem allowed me to connect to the internet even if there is a new message on call waiting. My new internal modem however will not connect unless i fist get rid of the beeping tone which indicates a new message on call waiting. Is there a way to adjust settings to allow me to do what the old modem does? | Guest (0) | ||
| 36452 | 2002-02-20 18:53:00 | I don't know what operating system you are using, but there will be a option in modem properties somewhere, to turn off, 'wait for dial tone before dialing'. Or some words to that effect. |
