| 36551 | 2002-02-21 08:18:00 | I'm (still) trying to hook up my Win95 laptop to my WinXP Pro desktop over a parallel cable. I couldnt do it with Win95 to WinME, but I thought I might with XP... except DCC manager has disappeared. Whats the equivalent? Or is there a new program? Or a third party program that does the same? Thanks! |

If that is the case you'll need to make sure that your lpt ports are set this way so they can send and receive data. You do this by entering your BIOS and changing the parallel port to either EPP or ECP which both support bi-directional. You'll have to do this for both computers. I am not sure of DCC in XP as I have never used DCC on it. |
