| 36678 | 2002-02-22 10:38:00 | Hi all I had norton internet security installed on my system, but i coudn't access the internet, so i uninstalled the software. As it turned out it was norton security that was preventing me accessing the internet. My problem is not all of the norton security is uninstalled? Does anyone know how i can possibly delete the remaining application. The dialogue box described these application being used by window? (go figure). My system is Me,Athlon 1200MH, 376 ram. Any help will be put the test. Thanks |

| 36679 | 2002-02-22 11:35:00 | I would say NIS wasn't letting you on the internet because you didn't tell it that your web browser was allowed to access the net. What wasn't removed from NIS. NIS relied on NAV and that may still exist also there was the Liveupdate. |
